Very good tortilla de patatas - it was soft and moist, great proportion between eggs and potatoes, though some parts are not well mixed as in seasoning. We tried 2 bocadillo, one chicken fromage and one jambon tomato. Both were great, more tomate would be even better. Service was great as well, very welcoming and quick

We were staying at the Caro Hotel, just 100 meters down the street (Bar Plaza is located on a quiet, pretty street.), for a family reunion, with multiple family members arriving at different times between 2–5 p.m. So we decided to grab a table outside, order some wine, and enjoy a few tapas while we waited for the rest of the group to arrive.
What started as a table for two became a table for eight. Miguel, our server, was incredibly accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed spending time there, sampling many of their delicious tapas as our group came together.- Servicio

Our favourite breakfast spot in Valencia! And the best tortilla de patata in Spain. I cannot recommend this place enough, start your day with a coffee, zumo di naranja and a tortilla de patata. Service is great and aircon seating inside or nice outdoor tables.

Lovely bar to watch the world pass by. Excellent beer and Rioja and the owner is super nice. Spend an hour or two here and you won’t be disappointed. I didn’t have any food unless you class olives and peanuts as food so it’s a limited review/

The tortilla de patatas (Spanish Omelette) is absolutely outstanding! The best I've had in Spain. Perfect place for a post-run breakfast.
The best food in town and great service! You cannot miss it while in town! Quiet place, great for romantic evening 🥰

Me and my friend tried the menu of the day(appetisers, main course, dessert and drink). It was very tasty. We paid 16 euros each

This place is amazing!! If you’re a food lover you will really appreciate this restaurant, it is for sure worth the walk. The restaurant is run by a local family: the dad is behind the bar, the mom is the chef and the daughter takes care of the guests. The food is some of the freshest and best in town and worth every euro. When your plates are served it may look rather simple but the quality and flavors of the food are nothing like other tapas restaurant around. If you get the chance try to get a seat outside next to the window so you can look inside and see the family interact with each other, I found it very endearing.

- croquetas (first photo)A very typical Spanish cafe for almuerzo (like a brunch). Although close to the cathedral, this was slightly off the beaten track. We had this bocadillo which was fully loaded with egg, cheese, pork loin, bacon and more! Delicious! And the coffee was good too.

My favorite place in Valencia for simple, delicious lunch. They usually have a lovely menú del día. The food is of excellent quality and the service is efficient. They have the best tiramisu I have ever tasted.
